Plexos was selected to provide the North Carolina Office of Recovery and Resiliency (NCORR) with project support and construction management services for approximately $422 million in CDBG-DR funded construction projects. This involved 50 counties that suffered damage from Hurricane Matthew and 36 counties that suffered damage from Hurricane Florence.
Our team staffed the Project Management Office (PMO), which was responsible for the implementation of construction management procedures that were compliant with HUD regulations and NCORR policies. In our PMO role, we were also responsible for financial management of construction contractor invoicing, IT/reporting support, and construction and safety inspection services. In addition, Plexos provided CDBG-DR Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and ongoing support to NCORR/NCEM for a variety of CDBG-DR initiatives related to include housing, buyout and acquisition, infrastructure, environmental review, and financial management.
In this role, Plexos performed more than 2,000 property inspections and developed the following:
