Plexos Group was selected by Seabrook, Texas, to help increase its resilience to natural disasters with Community Development Block Grant Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funding for their Wastewater Treatment Plan Retrofit Project.
Building on our relationship with the city, our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) provide efficient and streamlined grant funding and program administration services from inception through closeout, while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. At the pre-funding stage, we guided the city in identifying CDBG-MIT eligible capital improvement projects and submitted competitive applications that maximized funding potential.
Post-funding, Plexos will perform a wide range of tasks aimed to ensure the city adheres to financial and project performance projections and maintains compliance with regulations and guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Texas General Land Office (GLO).
Previously for Seabrook, our SMEs helped the city submit their Wastewater Treatment Plant Retrofit CDBG-MIT application for Round 1 of the Hurricane Harvey State Mitigation Competition. Our project development activities were aimed at ensuring the project would be competitive during the GLO scoring process. At the pre-application stage, we assisted the city in collecting and developing all CDBG-MIT required documentation as well as evaluating the project scoring within GLO deadlines.
