Grant funding and emergency management expert brings nearly 15 years’ experience improving response and recovery timelines to build community resilience to the effects of climate change.
Baton Rouge, La. – Plexos Group, L.L.C. (Plexos), a Baton Rouge-based infrastructure program delivery and grant management company, announced today that Casey Tingle has joined the company as Senior Vice President. Tingle is a recognized emergency management leader with a proven track record building resilience through disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation efforts.
Tingle strengthens Plexos’ expertise in maximizing federal grant funding from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) for infrastructure, utilities, broadband, housing, economic development, and disaster recovery programs across the country. He draws on extensive knowledge of the Stafford Act, FEMA programs, and national response and recovery frameworks with in-depth experience navigating complex and evolving financial and compliance requirements.

Tingle spent almost 15 years at the Louisiana Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. He served as the governor’s authorized representative for all federally declared disasters and led the closeout of the state’s largest mitigation project. After Hurricane Ida, he helped establish and implement a first of its kind disaster non-congregate sheltering program providing shelter to over 5,000 families. Tingle also worked closely with local, state, and federal partners to establish the Louisiana Watershed Initiative following historic flooding in 2016.
