Louisiana National Guard, 1984- Present 

 Assistant Adjutant General, Louisiana Air National Guard, 2016 - present 

Responsible for mission readiness, operations, and administrative coordination of the 1,500 personnel assigned to the 159th Fighter Wing and four Geographically Separated Units.  Assists the Adjutant General in formulating, developing, and coordinating programs, policies and plans for the entire Louisiana Air National Guard. As directed by the Adjutant General, serves as Commander of Forces during Statewide Emergencies.

 State Public Affairs Officer, Louisiana National Guard, 2014 - 2016

Responsible for planning, budgeting, designing and executing public affairs communications strategies to inform and educate the public about the state's Air and Army National Guard programs, activities and services. -Provided a full range of effective public information, command/internal information, and community relations services to support the National Guard's large and complex organization statewide. -Served as the official spokesperson for the Adjutant General on issues before representatives of the print and broadcast media and national organizations. Provided analysis and advice to The Adjutant General, staff and senior state National Guard leadership of public and media perceptions and attitudes regarding the state's National Guard. 

Commander of the 159th Maintenance Group, Louisiana Air National Guard, 2008 – 2014

Command Group of 540 + personnel; responsible for all on-and-off aircraft equipment maintenance for 20 F-15 fighter aircraft. -Responsible for the preparation and execution of a 24/7 Aircraft Alert Facility. 4 fully armed F15 Aircraft on 24-hour alert.  Alert Aircraft responsible for providing homeland security for the airspace across the southern border of the United States. -Responsible for planning and executing a $15 million annual budget for the Maintenance Group. -Oversee programming, planning & execution of all Aircraft Maintenance activities in support of peacetime/contingency/mobilization operations. -Orgs/directs A/C MX & supply activities to ensure aircraft availability to meet wartime contingency mission tasking. -Provides direct support to the Fighter Wing's state and federal missions by maintaining a combat ready force & fleet. Commander of the Area of Operations – Southeast Louisiana – State Emergency Operations. During state emergencies, responsible for all military support to Civilian Authorities for two Parishes in Southeast Louisiana.  Command over 500 Airmen and Soldiers performing Search and Rescue, security, engineering, commodities distribution and continuity of government missions.

Executive Officer 159th Fighter Wing, 2007-2008

Directed wing command section on day-to-day functions; including personnel and administrative support Wing Commander. Coordinated Wing Activities between three groups, wing staff and 20 Commanders. -Communicated and coordinated with 8th Air Force, Air Combat Command, HQ Louisiana Air National Guard, National Guard Bureau and other active/Guard agencies as required. -Managed Wing Commander calendar, coordinated all travel activities, implemented/monitored command procedures, policies and programs.

Counterdrug Coordinator, Louisiana National Guard, 2000-2005

Commanded 110 Airmen and Soldiers responsible for providing Counterdrug Support to civilian authorities. -Prepared and executed an annual budget of over $5 million. -Coordinated support with Drug Enforcement Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Customs, United States Marshalls, Louisiana State Police and over 50 local law enforcement agencies throughout Louisiana. -Facilitated National Guard partnerships with community based organizations and schools in support of Drug Demand Reduction Education 

Commander 159th Logistics Support Flight 1999-2000

Commanded Flight of 50 Airmen responsible for ensuring strict compliance with established practices and policies within the Maintenance Group. - Coordinates weekly, monthly, and quarterly maintenance plans, flying schedules, and all associated documentation that directly support the 3500-hour Wing annual flying hour program. Establishes a maintenance training program that ensures all personnel are properly trained & qualified for their job; Maintenance training responsible for the 400+ personnel within the Maintenance Group. - Ensures that the Maintenance Operations Center coordinates and monitors all ongoing maintenance 

Commander 159th Services Flight, 1996-1999 

Commanded Flight of 50 Airmen responsible for management and oversight of appropriated fund (APF) and non-appropriated fund (NAF) activities. -Activities included food service (dining facilities, flight kitchens, and other food service facilities); transient housing (visiting quarters and temporary lodging facilities); mortuary affairs (search and recovery, inspection of human remains, briefing next of kin, military honors, honor guard management, and personal property program); recreation activities (fitness centers, recreation centers, outdoor recreation activities, and information ticket and tours); libraries; private organizations; business activities (golf courses, clubs, bowling centers, youth programs ([child development school age program and youth centers]); membership clubs (rod and gun, and aero); NAF Human Resource Office; logistics; marketing; and other specialized programs and support staff functions such as Protocol. This field is also responsible for APF and NAF vehicle control; monitoring allocations received from the resource recycling and recovery program; pay telephone; leisure travel services; force management functions involving education, training, manpower, and human resource management; and command of services units.

Aircraft Maintenance Officer, 159th Maintenance Group, 1991-1996

Developed, coordinated, and executed daily flying and maintenance schedules. Managed aircraft configuration; daily aircraft servicing, weapons loading, launch, recovery, and repair; periodic aircraft maintenance inspections; and flightline safety and foreign object damage (FOD) prevention and dropped object programs. Managed overall aircraft fleet health and ensures aircraft availability to execute mission requirements. --Analyzes aircraft maintenance indicators to identify trends and initiates corrective actions.

Aircraft Electrical Systems Specialist, 1984 – 1991

Inspected, troubleshot and maintained aircraft E & E systems, subsystems, components, and associated test equipment. E & E on-equipment systems include direct and alternating current; gas turbine compressors and auxiliary power units; landing gear, anti-skid, and nose wheel steering; electronic engine control, ignition, and starting; lighting; master caution and warning; take-off warning; flight control; cargo door and cargo delivery equipment; non-electro static application windows; anti-icing; fire and overheat warning; fire extinguishing and suppression; fuel control; liquid cooling; air conditioning, bleed air, cabin pressurization, and auxiliary pressurization; oxygen; and aircraft utility systems. Fully qualified on F-4 and F-15 Fighter Aircraft
